Jimmy Witter And The Shadows - What Are Little Girls Made Of

I've had this 45 sitting in my "i'll get ti it soon" box but i had it in the soul pile. Since it's on Neptune Records and all my other records on Neptune are soul (Baby Washington comes to mind) i assumed incorrectly. This is a nice little rockabilly Elvis wanna be cut from 1960. Enjoy.

Sounds a little like the riff for Ronnie Hawkins' "Mary Lou."
Good tune.

Look out for the Frantic "If You Love My Woman" by Jimmy Witter & The Shadows (1956) on Elvis (TN) 45 - 900 (Mega bucks) But One of my all time Rockabilly Faves.

http://rcs-discography.com/rcs/artist.php?key=witt1000 He also recored as Ron Hart on Columbia (NY) 45 - 42866 (1963) which is a nice Teen R'N'R.

It would have been better if the lead singer had been more of a screamer, but I like it anyway.
Thanks.
